Education and Training - New Zealand Association of Plastic Surgeons

Oversight of the Surgical Education and Training (SET) programme for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (PRS) in New Zealand is the responsibility of the New Zealand Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (NZBPRS).

NZAPS has an agreement with RACS to provide administrative services and support to NZBPRS. Any queries relating to SET should be directed to training@plasticsurgery.org.nz, phone (04) 803 3020.

The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) is responsible for and should be contacted regarding the following:

Training fees
Examinations and skills courses
Managing hospital accreditation
Handling disputes and appeals that cannot be resolved at NZBPRS level
