Thigh Lift
A thigh lift, also known as thighplasty, is a surgical procedure designed to reshape the thighs by reducing excess skin and fat. This results in smoother skin and improved contours of the thighs and lower body, and is indicated in patients who have not been able to achieve their desired result through fitness and weight control.
In cases where the skin is of good quality and elasticity, liposuction alone may be effective in eliminating excess fat deposits through minimal scars. Thighplasty is therefore generally not used for fat reduction alone. However, when the skin is loose or of poor elasticity, thigh lift surgery may be recommended, and can be combined with liposuction if needed.
